The Beneficient

    (Allah) Most Gracious! End of Ayah 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur´an. End of Ayah 2 He has created man: End of Ayah 3 He has taught him speech (and intelligence). End of Ayah 4 The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; End of Ayah 5 And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration. End of Ayah 6 And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), End of Ayah 7 In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. End of Ayah 8 So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. End of Ayah 9 It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures: End of Ayah 10 Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); End of Ayah 11 Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants. End of Ayah 12 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 13 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, End of Ayah 14 And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke: End of Ayah 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: End of Ayah 17 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 18 He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: End of Ayah 19 Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: End of Ayah 20 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: End of Ayah 22 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 23 And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains: End of Ayah 24 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 25 All that is on earth will perish: End of Ayah 26 But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. End of Ayah 27 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 28 Of Him seeks (its need) every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in (new) Splendour doth He (shine)! End of Ayah 29 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 30 Soon shall We settle your affairs, O both ye worlds! End of Ayah 31 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 32 O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! End of Ayah 33 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: End of Ayah 35 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 36 When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment: End of Ayah 37 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 38 On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. End of Ayah 39 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 40 (For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet. End of Ayah 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 42 This is the Hell which the Sinners deny: End of Ayah 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! End of Ayah 44 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 45 But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- End of Ayah 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- End of Ayah 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- End of Ayah 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- End of Ayah 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); End of Ayah 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- End of Ayah 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. End of Ayah 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 53 They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). End of Ayah 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- End of Ayah 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- End of Ayah 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. End of Ayah 58 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? End of Ayah 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- End of Ayah 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- End of Ayah 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). End of Ayah 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: End of Ayah 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: End of Ayah 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- End of Ayah 70 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- End of Ayah 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- End of Ayah 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- End of Ayah 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- End of Ayah 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- End of Ayah 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. End of Ayah 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? End of Ayah 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. End of Ayah 78
